Abstract

June 2022, Palangka Raya Municipality Experiences 0.87 percent inflation and The Consumer Price Index is about 112.31. Out of 90 national CPI monitoring cities, 85 cities experienced inflation and 5 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Gunungsitoli by 2.72 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 113.64 and the lowest inflation occurred in Pontianak by 0.07 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 111.11. Meanwhile the highest deflation occurred in Kendari by 0.61 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 111.45 and the lowest deflation occurred in Tanjung Pandan by 0.03 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 115.97
Inflation in Palangka Raya was influenced by transportation group price by 1.79 percent; the food and beverage/ restaurant supply group by 1.58 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.34 percent; the personal care group and other services group by 0.66 percent; the household appliances, water, electricity and household fuels by 0.35 percent; health group by 0.24 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.22 percent; household equipment and routine maintenance about 0.10 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.06 percent; and education group by 0.06 percent. Meanwhile deflation was influenced by the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.03 percent.
Inflation rate for 2022 calendar year (January-June) is 4.15 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (June 2022 against June 2021) is 5.69 percent.
