Abstract
· September 2022, Palangka Raya Municipality
Experiences 1.05 percent inflation and The Consumer Price Index is about 114.45.
Out of 90 national CPI monitoring cities, 88 cities experienced inflation and 2
cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Bukit Tinggi by
1.87 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 114.45 and the lowest
inflation occurred in Merauke by 0.07 percent with number of Consumer Price
Index about 109.49. Meanwhile the highest deflation occurred in Manokwari by 0.64 percent with number of Consumer Price
Index about 113.97 and the lowest deflation occurred in Timika by 0.59 percent
with number of Consumer Price Index about 113.87.
· Inflation in Palangka Raya was influenced by transportation
group price by 6.66 percent; the household appliances, water, electricity and
household fuels by 0.96 percent; education group by 0.46 percent; household
equipment and routine maintenance about 0.45 percent; clothing and footwear
group by 0.43 percent; the food and beverage/ restaurant supply group by 0.20 percent;
health group by 0.15 percent; the personal care group and other services group
by 0.14 percent; and the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.06 percent.
Meanwhile deflation was influenced by the information, communication, and financial
services group by 0.27 percent.

Inflation rate for 2022 calendar year (January-September)
is 6.13 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (August 2022 against September
2021) is 7.69 percent.
