Abstract

Out of 90 national CPI monitoring cities, 34 cities experienced inflation and 56 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Singkawang by 1.36 percent and the highest deflation occurred in Kupang by 0.89 percent. Palangka Raya ranks 26th highest inflation city at the national level.
Inflation in Palangka Raya by 0.08 percent was mainly influenced by the personal care group and other services group by 0.49 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.46 percent; household equipment and routine maintenance by 027 percent; health group by 0.20 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.13 percent; the household appliances, water, electricity and household fuels by 0.11 percent; the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.07 percent; the education group by 0,03 percent; and the food and beverage/ restaurant supply group by 0,02 percent. While the group that experienced decrease in the transportation group price by 0.12 percent; and food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.03 percent.
Inflation rate for June 2021 calendar year is 1.07 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (June 2021 against June 2020) is 0.95 percent.
