Abstract

January 2022, Palangka Raya Municipality Experiences 0.62 percent inflation and The Consumer Price Index is about 108.51. Out of 90 national CPI monitoring cities, 85 cities experienced inflation and 5 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Sibolga by 1.53 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 109.81 and the lowest inflation occurred in Manokwari by 0.02 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 111.34. Then the highest deflation occurred in Kotamobagu by 0.66 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 108.79 and the lowest inflation occurred in Jayapura by 0.04 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 105.83.
Inflation in Palangka Raya was influenced by household equipment and routine maintenance about 1.13 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.85 percent; education group by 0.70 percent; the household appliances, water, electricity and household fuels by 0.62 percent; the personal care group and other services group by 0.56percent; the food and beverage/ restaurant supply group by 0.51percent; the transportation group price by 0.45 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.39 percent; health group by 0.10 percent; and the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.03 percent. While the group that experienced decrease in the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.04 percent.
Inflation rate for 2022 calendar year (January-January) is 0.62 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (January 2022 against January 2021) is 3.13 percent.
