Abstract

October 2021, Palangka Raya Municipality Experiences 0.21 percent inflation and The Consumer Price Index is about 106.50. Out of 90 national CPI monitoring cities, 68 cities experienced inflation and 22 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Sampit by 2.06 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 109.30 and the lowest inflation occurred in Surakarta by 0.02 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 104.64. Then the highest deflation occurred in Kendari by 0.70 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 107.98 and the lowest inflation occurred in Bengkulu by 0.02 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 105.89.
Inflation in Palangka Raya was influenced by food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.51 percent; the household appliances, water, electricity and household fuels by 0.15 percent; the personal care group and other services group by 0.14 percent;household equipment and routine maintenance by 0.12 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.11 percent; the transportation group price by 0.04 percent; the education group by 0.04 percent; and the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.06 percent. While the group that experienced decrease in the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.04 percent.
Inflation rate for October 2021 calendar year is 1.30 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (October 2021 against October 2020) is 2.32 percent.
