Abstract
· September 2023,
Palangka Raya Municipality Experiences 0.11 percent inflation and The Consumer
Price Index is about 116.54. Out of 90 national CPI monitoring cities, 73
cities experienced inflation and 17 cities experienced deflation. The highest
inflation occurred in Tanjung Pandan by 1.41 percent with number of Consumer
Price Index about 121.63. Meanwhile the highest deflation occurred in Manokwari
by 1.70 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 119.96.
Inflation
in Palangka Raya was influenced by the food and beverage/ restaurant supply
group by 1.09 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.98; the
education group by 0.97 percent; household equipment and routine maintenance
about 0.34 percent; the information, communication, and financial services
group by 0.18; clothing and footwear group by 0.04 percent; and the food,
beverage and tobacco group by 0.22. There are group that have no changed are the household appliances, water, electricity
and household fuels and the health group. Meanwhile inflation was influenced by
transportation group price by 0.59 percent and the personal care group and
other services group by 0.14 percent.

rate for calendar year (January - September
2023) is 1.46 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (September 2023 against September
2022) is 1.83 percent.
