April 2023, Palangka Raya Municipality Experiences 0.32 Percent Inflation

April 2023, Palangka Raya Municipality Experiences 0.32 percent inflation and The Consumer Price Index is about 116.10. Out of 90 national CPI monitoring cities, 77 cities experienced inflation and 13 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Jayapura by 1.44 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 112.18. Meanwhile the highest deflation occurred in Meulaboh by -0.70 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 118.44.

Inflation in Palangka Raya was influenced by the personal care group and other services group by 1.01 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.87 percent; transportation group price by 0.10 percent; the food and beverage/ restaurant supply group by 0.05 percent. Meanwhile deflation was influenced by clothing and footwear group by 0.25 percent;  household equipment and routine maintenance about 0.08 percent; the household appliances, water, electricity and household fuels by 0.04 percent.  There are group that have no changed, like health group; the information, communication, and financial services group; the recreation, sports, and culture group.

 

Inflation rate for  calendar year (January 2023-April 2023) is 1.08  percent and year-on-year inflation rate (April 2023 against April 2022) is 5.25 percent.
