Abstract
February 2023, Palangka Raya Municipality Experiences 0.11 percent
inflation and The Consumer Price Index is about 115.14. Out of 90 national CPI
monitoring cities, 63 cities experienced inflation and 27 cities experienced
deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Ternate by 1.85 percent with
number of Consumer Price Index about 114.42. Meanwhile the highest deflation
occurred in Gunung Sitoli by 0.98 percent with number of Consumer
Price Index about 115.65.
Inflation in Palangka Raya was influenced by the recreation,
sports, and culture group by 0.63 percent; health group by 0.52percent; clothing
and footwear group by 0.48 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.35
percent; education group by 0.12 percent; household equipment and routine
maintenance about 0.04 percent; the personal care group and other services
group by 0.04 percent; the household
appliances, water, electricity and household fuels by 0.02 percent; and the information, communication, and
financial services group by 0.01 percent. Meanwhile deflation was influenced by transportation group price
by 0.41percent.
Inflation rate for calendar year (January 2023-February
2023) is 0.24 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (February 2023 against February
2022) is 6.12 percent.
