Abstract

December 2022, Palangka Raya Municipality Experiences 0.22 percent inflation and The Consumer Price Index is about 114.86. Out of 90 national CPI monitoring cities, all cities experienced inflation. The highest inflation occurred in Bandung by 2.04 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 115.43, followed by Manokwari by 1.85 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 118.07. The lowest inflation occurred in Sorong by 0.01 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 110.95.
Inflation in Palangka Raya was influenced by food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.30 percent; the personal care group and other services group by 0.56 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.08 percent; health group by 0.07 percent. Meanwhile deflation was influenced by transportation group price by 1.66 percent; the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.20 percent; the household appliances, water, electricity and household fuels by 0.02 percent and the household equipment and routine maintenance about 0.36 percent; the food and beverage/ restaurant supply group by 0.02 percent.
Inflation rate for 2022 calendar year (January-December) is 6.51 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (December 2022 against December 2021) is 6.51 percent.
