Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in May 2022 reached US$578.30 million, down 7.04 percent compared to April 2022 and up 103.32 percent compared to May 2021.
  • Coal, zirconium ore, palm fat, aluminum ore, and natural rubber are Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during May 2022.
  • Japan, India and China will be the main export destinations for Kalimantan Tengah during May 2022.
  • Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's export value increased by 102.15 percent, from US$1,197.89 million (January-May 2021) to US$2,421.53 million (January-May 2022).
  • Kalimantan Tengah's import value during May 2022 reached US$0.53 million, down 78.61 percent compared to April 2022 and down 83.73 percent compared to May 2021.
  • Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's import value decreased by 41.60 percent, from US$20.24 million (January-May 2021) to US$11.82 million (January-May 2022).
  • Germany, Saudi Arabia and Singapore are the origin countries of Kalimantan Tengah's imports during May 2022.
  • Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance experienced a surplus of US$577.77 million in May 2022.
