October 2022: Kalimantan Tengah exports valued at US$501.56 million, up 26.32 percent compared to September 2022 and imports fell 32.51 percent to US$4.17 million

Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah's export value in October 2022 reached US$501.56 million, up 26.32 percent compared to exports in September 2022 and up 55.57 percent compared to October 2021.

Coal, palm oil, gold nugget, zirconium ore and lignite are Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during October 2022.

Japan, India and China are the main export destination countries for Kalimantan Tengah during October 2022.

Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's export value increased by 95.52 percent, from US$2,423.94 million (January-October 2021) to US$4,739.36 million (January-October 2022).

Kalimantan Tengah's import value during October 2022 reached US$4.17 million, down 32.51 percent compared to September 2022 and down 7.16 percent when compared to October 2021.

Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's import value increased by 9.56 percent, from US$41.30 million (January-October 2021) to US$45.25 million (January-October 2022).

Singapore, Laos and China are the countries of origin for Kalimantan Tengah imports during October 2022.

Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance in October 2022 experienced a surplus of US$497.39 million.
