Abstract

Out of 90 national CPI monitoring cities, 83 cities experienced inflation and 7 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Tual by 1.15 percent and the highest deflation occurred in Kendari by 0.22 percent. Palangka Raya ranks 17th highest inflation city at the national level.

Inflation in Palangka Raya by 0.53 percent was mainly influenced by the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.50 percent; the transportation group price by 0.84 percent; the personal care group and other services group by 018 percent; the food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 0.17 percent; and clothing and footwear group by 0.15 percent. While the group that experienced an decrease in household equipment and routine maintenance by 0.13 percent; the recreation, sports and culture group by 0.08 percent and the household appliances, water, electricity and household fuels 0.03 percent.

Inflation rate for November 2020 calendar year is 0.24 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (November 2020 against November 2019) is 0.83 percent.
