June 2020, Palangka Raya Municipality Experiences 0.33% Inflation

• Out of 90 national CPI monitoring cities, 76 cities experienced inflation and 14 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Kendari by 1.33 percent and the highest deflation occurred in Ternate by 0.34 percent. Palangka Raya ranks 30th highest inflation city at the national level.

• Inflation in Palangka Raya by 0.33 percent was mainly influenced by the incline in the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.03 percent; followed by the sports and culture group by 0.51 percent; the food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 0.27 percent; the transportation group price index by 0.27 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.16 percent; health group of 0.07 percent; the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.01 percent.
While the group that experienced an decrease in the personal care group and other services group by 0.61 percent.

• Inflation rate for June 2020 calendar year is 0.83 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (June 2020 against June 2019) is 1.83 percent.
