Abstract
The paddy harvested area in 2024 is estimated to be around 110,80 thousand hectares, an increase of 9,22 thousand hectares or 9,08 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 101,58 thousand hectares.
Rice production in 2024 is estimated at 378,18 thousand tons of GKG, an increase of 47,40 thousand tons of GKG or 14,33 percent compared to rice production in 2023 which was 330,78 thousand tons of GKG.
Rice production in 2024 for food consumption for the population is estimated to be around 224,64 tons, an increase of 28,15 thousand tons or 14,33 percent compared to rice production in 2023 which was 196,49 thousand tons.

Provisional Figures: The rice harvest area in 2021 is estimated at 125.31 thousand hectares with a production of 400.44 thousand tons of GKG. If converted into rice, rice production in 2021 is estimated to reach 236.64 thousand tons.
In 2022, the rice harvested area is estimated at 109.76 thousand hectares with a production of around 353.86 tons of GKG.

In 2023, the rice harvest area is estimated to be 101.09 thousand hectares with rice production of around 334.73 tons of milled dry grain
In 2022, the rice harvest area will reach around 108.23 thousand hectares production of 343.92 thousand tons of GKG.
