Abstract

The rice harvested area in 2022 is estimated at 109.76 thousand hectares, a decrease of 16.11 thousand hectares or 12.80 percent compared to the rice harvested area in 2021 which is 125.87 thousand hectares.
  • Rice production in 2022 is estimated at 353.86 thousand tons of GKG, a decrease of 27.32 thousand tons of GKG or 7.17 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which is around 381.19 thousand tons of GKG.
  • Rice production in 2022 for the population's food consumption is estimated to be around 210.20 thousand tons, a decrease of 16.23 thousand tons or 7.17 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which amounted to 226.43 tons.
