April 2024: The number of air and sea transport passengers has increased compared to Maret 2024, by 42.69 percent and 102.53 percent respectively.

Abstract

Flight frequency in April 2024 increased by 56.15 percent compared to Maret 2024, from 837 flights to 1,307 flights.
The number of air transportation passengers increased by 42.69 percent, from 86,774 people (Maret 2024) to 123,819 people (April 2024).
Goods traffic using air transportation increased by 13.01 percent, from 1,883 tons (Maret 2024) to 2,128 tons (April 2024).
The frequency of ship visits to ports in the Kalimantan Tengah region increased by 14.83 percent, from 607 visits (Maret 2024) to 697 visits (April 2024).
The number of sea transportation passengers increased by 102.53 percent, from 40,440 people (Maret 2024) to 81,902 people (April 2024).
Traffic of goods using sea transportation increased by 0.90 percent, from 1.31 million tonnes (Maret 2024) to 1.32 million tonnes (April 2024).
During April 2023, sea transport passenger activities were concentrated at Kumai Port (68.80 percent), while the flow of goods was concentrated at Sampit Port (59.25 percent).
