Abstract

Flight frequency decreased by 15.21 percent, from 1,072 flights (January 2023) to 909 flights (February 2023).
  • The number of air transport passengers decreased by 17.61 percent, from 96,279 people (January 2023) to 79,329 people (February 2023).
  • Goods traffic using air transportation fell by 3.72 percent, from 1,290 tons (January 2023) to 1,242 tons (February 2023).
  • The frequency of ship visits to ports in the Kalimantan Tengah region decreased by 20.72 percent, from 782 visits (January 2023) to 620 visits (February 2023).
  • The number of sea transport passengers decreased by 11.47 percent, from 31,194 people (January 2023) to 27,617 people (February 2023).
  • Traffic of goods using sea transportation fell by 18.36 percent, from 1.61 million tonnes (January 2023) to 1.31 million tonnes (February 2023).
  • During February 2023, sea transport passenger activities were concentrated at Kumai Port (75.19 percent), while the volume of goods flow was concentrated at Sampit Port (56.41 percent).
