January 2024: Kalimantan Tengah exports worth US$392.50 million, down 28.79 percent compared to December 2023 and imports worth US$12.29 million, up 158.19 percent compared to December 2023

Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah's export value in January 2024 reached US$392.50 million or down 28.79 percent compared to exports in December 2023, and down 21.24 percent compared to exports in January 2023.

Coal, palm oil, zirconium ore, processed wood and lignite are Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during January 2024.

Japan, South Korea and India are the main export destination countries for Kalimantan Tengah during January 2024.

The import value of Kalimantan Tengah during January 2024 reached US$12.29 million, an increase of 158.19 percent compared to December 2023 and an increase of 197.58 percent compared to January 2023.

Steam Boiler Machines, Bituminous Asphalt and chemical product catalysts are the main commodities imported by Kalimantan Tengah during January 2024.

Malaysia, Singapore and Saudi Arabia are the main countries of origin for imports Kalimantan Tengah during January 2024.

Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance in January 2024 experienced a surplus of US$380.21 million.
