Abstract

Flight frequency increased by 5.72 percent, from 909 flights (February 2023) to 961 flights (March 2023).
  • The number of air transport passengers increased by 9.95 percent, from 79,329 people (February 2023) to 87,220 people (March 2023).
  • Goods traffic using air transportation increased by 7.89 percent, from 1,242 tons (February 2023) to 1,340 tons (March 2023).
  • The frequency of ship visits to ports in the Kalimantan Tengah region increased by 13.55 percent, from 620 visits (February 2023) to 704 visits (March 2023).
  • The number of sea transport passengers increased by 7.94 percent, from 27,617 people (February 2023) to 29,810 people (March 2023).
  • Traffic of goods using sea transportation rose 12.77 percent, from 1.31 million tonnes (February 2023) to 1.48 million tonnes (March 2023).
  • During March 2023, sea transport passenger activities were concentrated at the Port of Kumai (76.00 percent) and the volume of goods flowing was also concentrated at the Port of Kumai (44.32 percent).
