January 2023: Kalimantan Tengah exports in January 2023 valued at US$498.38 million, down 2.06 percent compared to December 2022

Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah's export value in January 2023 reached US$498.38 million, up 2.06 percent compared to December 2022 exports.

Coal, gold nugget, palm oil, logs and zirconium ore are Central Kalimantan's main export commodities during January 2023.

Japan, China and Italy are the main export destination countries for Central Kalimantan during January 2023.

On a year-on-year basis, Kalimantan Tengah's export value increased by 175.91 percent, from US$180.63 million (January 2022) to US$498.38 million (January 2023).

Kalimantan Tengah's import value during January 2023 reached US$ 4.13 million, an increase of 8.97 percent compared to December 2022 and an increase of 21.11 percent compared to January 2022.

Boiler engines, fertilizer (potassium chloride), and catalysts are the main import commodities for Kalimantan Tengah during January 2023.

Malaysia, Laos and Singapore are the countries of origin for Kalimantan Tengah imports during January 2023.

Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance in January 2023 experienced a surplus of US$494.25 million.
