August 2022: The number of air transport passengers during August 2022 decreased by 20.34 percent compared to July 2022, while the number of sea transport passengers during August 2022 decreased by 31.12 percent compared to July 2022.

Abstract

Flight frequency increased by 3.13 percent, from 1,151 flights (July 2022) to 1,187 flights (August 2022).

The number of air transport passengers decreased by 20.34 percent, from 103,492 people (July 2022) to 82,443 people (August 2022).

Freight traffic using air transportation rose 42.37 percent, from 1,206 tons (July 2022) to 1,717 tons (August 2022).

The frequency of ship visits at ports in the Kalimantan Tengah region increased by 1.92 percent, from 783 visits (July 2022) to 798 visits (August 2022).

The number of sea transport passengers decreased by 31.12 percent, from 52,320 people (July 2022) to 36,040 people (August 2022).

Freight traffic using sea transportation rose 11.41 percent, from 1.63 million tons (July 2022) to 1.81 million tons (August 2022).

During August 2022, sea transport passenger activities were concentrated inKumai Port (71.35 percent), while the volume of the flow of goods is concentrated in Sampit Port (52.64 percent).
