September 2022: The number of air transport passengers has increased by 3.10 percent compared to August 2022, while the number of sea transport passengers during September 2022 has decreased by 7.72 percent compared to August 2022.

Abstract

Flight frequency decreased by 8.85 percent, from 1,187 flights (August 2022) to 1,082 flights (September 2022).

The number of air transport passengers rose 3.10 percent, from 82,443 people (August 2022) to 84,997 people (September 2022).

Freight traffic using air transportation decreased 38.03 percent, from 1,717 tons (August 2022) to 1,064 tons (September 2022).

The frequency of ship visits at ports in the Kalimantan Tengah region increased by 1.38 percent, from 798 visits (August 2022) to 809 visits (September 2022).

The number of sea transport passengers decreased by 7.72 percent, from 36,040 people (August 2022) to 33,256 people (September 2022).

Freight traffic using sea transportation decreased by 10.00 percent, from 1.81 million tons (August 2022) to 1.63 million tons (September 2022).

During September 2022, sea transportation passenger activities were concentrated in Kumai Port (72.38 percent), while the volume of goods flow was concentrated in Sampit Port (59.69 percent).
