Abstract

· July 2022, Palangka Raya Municipality Experiences 0.56 percent inflation and The Consumer Price Index is about 112.94. Out of 90 national CPI monitoring cities, all cities experienced inflation. The highest inflation occurred in Kendari by 2.27 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 113.98 and the lowest inflation occurred in Tanjungn and Pematang Siantar by 0.04 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 113.88 anad 112.53.
· Inflation in Palangka Raya was influenced by transportation group price by 2.46 percent; education group by 0.73 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.51 percent; the personal care group and other services group by 0.40 percent; the household appliances, water, electricity and household fuels by 0.33 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.27 percent; household equipment and routine maintenance about 0.24 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.15 percent; and the food and beverage/ restaurant supply group by 0.03 percent. Meanwhile deflation was influenced by the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.04 percent.
· Inflation rate for 2022 calendar year (January-July) is 4.73 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (July 2022 against July 2021) is 6.16 percent.
