July 2020, room occupancy rate (ROR) for star hotels 30.07%

Abstract

The room occupancy rate (ROR) of star hotels during July 2020 rose 9.00 points compared to June 2020, from 21.07 percent to 30.07 percent. The ROR for non-star hotels also rose 1.79 points, from 12.48 percent to 14.27 percent.

The average length of stay in July 2020 at star hotels reached 1.51 days, while at non-star hotels 1.15 days.

The number of guests staying at star hotels in July 2020 rose 128.90 percent over the previous month, from 5,107 people to 11,690 people. The number of guests staying at non-star hotels also increased 22.46 percent, from 38,927 people to 47,669 people.

Cumulatively, from January to July 2020, the number of guests staying at star hotels fell 51.31 percent over the same period the previous year, from 163,169 people to 79,445 people. The number of guests at non-star hotels also decreased by 15.23 percent, from 389,695 people to 330,357 people.
