During July 2019, ROR for star hotels rose 11.19 points to 58.05%

Abstract

The number of guests staying at star hotels rose 27.73 percent, from 20,566 people (June 2019) to 26,269 people (July 2019). The number of guests staying at non-star hotels also rose 2.00 percent, from 59,867 people (June 2019) to 61,066 people (July 2019).
  • Cumulatively, the number of guests staying at star hotels rose 4.27 percent, from 156,482 people (January-July 2018) to 163,169 people (January-July 2019). In contrast, the number of guests at non-star hotels fell 8.77 percent, from 427,180 people (January-July 2018) to 389,695 people (January-July 2019).
  • Room occupancy rates (TPK) of star hotels rose 11.19 points, from 46.86 percent (June 2019) to 58.05 percent (July 2019). Non-star hotel ROR also rose 0.35 points, from 22.14 percent (June 2019) to 22.49 percent (July 2019).
  • The average length of stay (RLTM) in a star hotel (1.55 days) is longer than that in non-star hotels (1.19 days).
