Abstract
Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
The Combined NTP of Kalimantan Tengah Province in April 2024 increased by 0.86 percent compared to March 2024, namely from 123.82 to 124.89. This increase was caused by the increase in exchange rates in several subsectors, namely Horticulture (2.18 percent), People's Plantation Crops (1.47 percent), Livestock (2.56 percent), and Fisheries (0.85 percent).
In April 2024, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Tengah Province by 1.19 percent, which was mainly caused by an increase in the index in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group (1.62 percent), Personal Care and Other Services group (0, 96 percent), Clothing and Footwear group (0.94 percent), Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel group (0.46 percent), and Transportation group (0.28 percent).
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kalimantan Tengah Province in April 2024 increased by 1.70 percent, from 127.35 (March 2024) to 129.51 (April 2024).
