November 2023: Air and sea transportation passengers decreased by 1.84 percent and 12.88 percent respectively compared to October 2023.

Abstract

Flight frequency in November 2023 decreased by 6.40 percent compared to October 2023, from 922 flights to 863 flights.

The number of air transport passengers fell by 1.84 percent, from 94,759 people (October 2023) to 93,016 people (November 2023).

Goods traffic using air transportation decreased by 10.07 percent, from 1,341 tonnes (October 2023) to 1,206 tonnes (November 2023).

The frequency of visits by ships at ports in Kalimantan Tengah region increased by 0.13 percent, from 778 visits (October 2023) to 779 visits (November 2023).

The number of sea transportation passengers fell by 12.88 percent, from 42,185 people (October 2023) to 36,751 people (November 2023).

Goods traffic using sea transportation decreased by 8.75 percent, from 1.84 million tonnes (October 2023) to 1.68 million tonnes (November 2023).

During November 2023, sea transport passenger activity is concentrated at Kumai Port (72.23 percent), while goods flows are concentrated at Sampit Port (48.39 percent).
