September 2023: The number of air transportation passengers decreased by 0.31 percent compared to August 2023, while the number of sea transportation passengers decreased by 0.01 percent

Abstract

The number of air and sea transport passengers has decreased compared to August 2023, by 0.31 percent and 0.01 percent respectively
Flight frequency in September 2023 increased by 5.98 percent compared to August 2023, from 969 flights to 961 flights.
The number of air transportation passengers decreased by 0.31 percent, from 96,220 people (August 2023) to 95,918 people (September 2023).
Goods traffic using air transportation decreased by 0.68 percent, from 1,331 tons (August 2023) to 1,322 tons (September 2023).
The frequency of ship visits to ports in the Central Kalimantan region increased by 2.52 percent, from 755 visits (August 2023) to 774 visits (September 2023).
The number of sea transportation passengers decreased by 0.01 percent, from 42,378 people (August 2023) to 42,374 people (September 2023).
Traffic of goods using sea transportation increased by 8.07 percent, from 1.42 million tonnes (August 2023) to 1.54 million tonnes (September 2023).
During September 2023, sea transport passenger activities were concentrated at Kumai (70.62 percent), while the flow of goods was concentrated at Sampit Port (49.08 percent).
