Abstract

· October 2022, Palangka Raya Municipality Experiences 0.07 percent deflation and The Consumer Price Index is about 114.37. Out of 90 national CPI monitoring cities, 29 cities experienced inflation and 61 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Manokwari by 0.76 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 114.84 and the lowest inflation occurred in Gorontalo by 0.01 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 111.94. Meanwhile the highest deflation occurred in Gunungsitoli by 0.01 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 111.94 and the lowest deflation occurred in Sampit by 0.01 percent with number of Consumer Price Index about 116.56.
Deflation in Palangka Raya was influenced by transportation group price by 0.87 percent; the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.42 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.11 percent; the personal care group and other services group by 0.06 percent. Meanwhile inflation was influenced by the food and beverage/ restaurant supply group by 0.52 percent; household equipment and routine maintenance about 0.43 percent; health group by 0.42 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.02 percent; and the household appliances, water, electricity and household fuels by 0.01 percent.
Inflation rate for 2022 calendar year (January-October) is 6.06 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (October 2022 against October 2021) is 7.39 percent.
