August 2022: Kalimantan Tengah's exports in August 2022 were US$505.66 million, down 0.43 percent compared to July 2022.

Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in August 2022 reached US$505.66 million, a decrease of 0.43 percent compared to exports in July 2022, but an increase of 102.46% compared to August 2021.

Coal, palm oil, gold nugget, zirconium ore, and rubber are Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during August 2022.

Japan, China and India will be the main export destinations for Kalimantan Tengah during August 2022.

Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's export value increased by 98.81 percent, from US$1,931.91 million (January-August 2021) to US$3,840.74 million (January-August 2022).

Kalimantan Tengah's import value during August 2022 reached US$11.68 million, up 97.30 percent compared to July 2022 and up 334.20 percent compared to August 2021.

Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's import value increased by 1.10 percent, from US$34.51 million (January-August 2021) to US$34.89 million (January-August 2022).

Malaysia, Singapore and Laos are the origin countries of Central Kalimantan's imports during August 2022.

Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance experienced a surplus of US$493.98 million in August 2022.
