Abstract

The number of poor people in Kalimantan Tengah in March 2021 was recorded at 140.04 thousand people, a decrease of 1.74 thousand people compared to September 2020 which reached 141.78 thousand people (down 5.26 percent in September 2020 to 5.16 percent in September 2020). March 2021).
  • In urban areas, the percentage of poor people in September 2020 was 4.92 percent, down to 4.86 percent in March 2021. Meanwhile, during the same period, the percentage of poor people in rural areas decreased from 5.50 percent to 5.38 percent.
  • Based on the components that make up the Poverty Line (GK), food GK has a share of 78.21 percent. The three types of food commodities that have the greatest influence are rice, filter kretek cigarettes, and broiler meat. Meanwhile, the three non-food commodities that have the biggest impact are housing, electricity, and gasoline.
