During March 2019, the value of exports rose 4.75 percent to US $ 240.22 million. However, imports dropped 43.78 percent to US $ 5.74 million.

Abstract

The total value of exports rose 4.75 percent from US $ 229.32 million (February 2019) to US $ 240.22 million (March 2019).

Mineral fuels are still the main export commodity (US $ 149.40 million), contributing 62.19 percent of total exports.

Japan is the main trading partner for export destinations (US $ 90.45 million), contributing 37.65 percent of total exports.

Kumai Port dominates Kalimantan Tengah's export commodity load service (US $ 29.67 million), contributing 12.35 percent of total exports.

Cumulatively, the total value of exports rose 34.38 percent from US $ 511.52 million (January-March 2018) to US $ 687.40 million (January-March 2019).

The total value of imports fell 43.78 percent from US $ 10.21 million (February 2019) to US $ 5.74 million (March 2019). Cumulatively, it also fell 3.56 percent from US $ 24.42 million (January-March 2018) to US $ 23.55 million (January-March 2019).

The foreign trade balance was a surplus of US $ 234.48 million (March 2019) and US $ 663.85 million (January-March 2019).
